Sample the real engine sound and a blip sound when you shut the engine off. I can hear bombs dropping far away..why cant i hear aircraft? - Robb |
You should be hearing them. There is a bug that makes sounds of other aircraft sound like they are right by you. This makes it easy to confuse who is taking damage, and makes it difficult to tell other aircrafts engines from your own. The blip sound is a good idea, but probably not going to make it into the patch. |

Possible richocet sounds when enemy hits your engine.... - comte DeLoach |
Good idea, but probably wont happen. |
No fix. |

Have the sounds for combat muffled or changed when they are some distance from you. I have been pushing the envelope in dogfights only to hear the scream and wing-snapping sounds and think i've had it, when it was someone else- then i usually get it - having broken off and straightened up! - Baron von Benz |
This should be fixed in the 3D patch. |

Sounds of guns cocking after/during a jam Sound of ground crew swinging prop to start engine..ie "contact".."switches off "..etc et al.. - McCudden |
Good idea, but probably wont happen. |
No fix. |

A wing creaking sound prior to the wing tearing off. If this is alread being done, than increasing the volume of the wing creaking sound over the engine would work. The idea is that there some warning before the wing tears off so it can be avoided. - Sixoclockbandit |
We should be able to increase the volume a bit. |

Ditto. Music response during game play. Look at Origin's 'Wings of Glory' for an excellent example. Background music while on patrol, shifts to more intense when enemies near, shifts to victory type when you have shot the enemie down, etc. Great! And you can turn it off with preferences during flight if you want too. - rabu Interactive responsive Music during game play. - Hibben YES! Interactive Music During Game play. Example changing for the Situation, Intense and up beat during dog fights. calm and adventurous during regular flight. - Kale |
Good idea, but probably wont happen. |
No fix. |
